TF Card Bootup

TF Card Bootup — Flash ROM to TF card, insert TF card to Station PC, Station PC runs the ROM in TF card.


Kit

·TF card

·USB card reader

·Flashing tool: SD_Firmware_Tool 


Step 1 Create Bootable Card.

1. Insert the TF card to the USB card reader; insert the USB card reader to the PC.

2. Open SD_Firmware_Tool and select the inserted TF card.

3. Tick "SD Boot".

4. Click "Firmware" and select the downloaded ROM image.

5. Click "Create".  

6. Bootable card is created.

Step 2 Erase the Flash.

To use TF card to boot, you need to use AndroidTool (v2.58 or higher) to erase the Flash first to guide the PC to boot with the TF card.

 

(1) Disconnect the Station PC from power (unplug the Type-C cable).

(2) Insert the Allen wrench(following accessory) into the AV port (RECOVERY button is inside), keep holding the RECOVERY button.

(3) Connect the Station PC to power. When “Found One LOADER Device” pops up, release the RECOVERY button.

(4) Click “Upgrade Firmware” → “Firmware” → Select the ROM you want to write into the TF card → Click “Erase Flash” after the ROM is loaded → “Erase Flash Success” pops up and “Found One MASKROM Device” shows; finish.

Note: If it still shows “No Devices Found”, check if the Driver is successfully installed.


Step 3 Boot with TF Card.

Insert the TF card to Station M1 and power on.

It runs the new ROM.
