Good news. I have compiled an alpha version of ArmbianTV images for the Firefly-ITX-3588j model.

Starting from version 20230620, support for Firefly-ITX-3588j has been added.
Important. Immediately after writing the image to the SD card, it is NECESSARY to write the bootloader image. Only after that you can start the system.
I recommend using the bootloader version with EXTLINUX, this provides automatic system startup and the ability to install on eMMC\SATA (M2). When using the EDK2-EFI bootloader, you need to add an indication to the grub configuration which DTB to use (this is for experienced users who know how to do it).

After installing the mesa-23.2.0 package

with support for HW acceleration pancsf, this allows you to use this model as a full-fledged mini-PC with full-screen video playback up to 4k. It also works to play videos in the browser from youtube to full screen.
the installation of KODI from the usual Debian\Ubuntu network repositories also works, and playback of all video file formats works in it.
