Hello can someone tell me how do I make this thing usable I have the geek P2 and thought it would be similar to my Nvidia shield. I thought actually it would have three bootable partitions so that I could do windows Linux and Android. I don't know anything about flashing these things I just want to be able to put some ABS in it and play around with it but the version of Kodi that's on here doesn't even allow for pass-through of AC3 or truehd audio. I can't install Google Play I can't seem to start any apks. Help

Windows is not supported on ARM devices.

For Kodi, download the latest version from their website.
Rockchip devices definitely support audio passthrough.
You must also enable it in Kodi System - Audio Settings.
You can try the ARMV8 (64-bit) one.

Armbian, Manjaro, LibreELEC Linux OS's should also be available in future when they are developed.

No it said "Install Failed" when trying to install Kodi 19.   I previously said changed the settings to Install from Unknown Sources

Hi, I will check Kodi when I get my device.
Maybe there is a preinstalled one that first need to be uninstalled somewhere.

You need to root android first, then overwrite the pre-installed kodi with kodi 19, and then restart the device

Well they came out with a new firmware that actually has the Google Play app installed as well as Kodi 19.1. However I would not recommend this product. I would suggest that people stick with the Nvidia Shield as well as many other better options even the fire stick is better than this device. But if you are Chinese I understand Chinese then you may have a much better experience with the device or if you like to just go in and root devices you are a developer maybe this will be exciting for you but for end user like myself it's been nothing but frustrating. I'm still not able to get the same video quality out of it as I can with the fire stick or my Nvidia Shield nor the same audio quality with my Shield

Well they came out with a new firmware that actually has the Google Play app installed as well as Ko ...

The TrueHD issue is fixed with new firmware and video also plays smoother.
The RK3568 supports VP9 HDR as well as 10-bit H264 which the Nvidia Shield doesn't support.
I will release the new firmware next week.
