Great articles.
Nice to see how others use arm SBCs.
For Spotify you could take a look at this. It's for the armhf rpi'. I think it's also possible to install in arm64. https://github.com/dtcooper/raspotify
This may be needed : "As most RK3399 device run AARCH64 OS, you'll need an armhf multiarch environment, and an armhf gcc: On debian, install it with sudo apt install gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf."
It might be installed by default in Twister OS Armbian. I'll check that.
About the NVMe hat. The shipment has been cancelled. No idea why. It showed it was shipped, and now it's "shipment cancelled".
That's a bummer. I really wanted to use an NVMe hat with Buster Legacy. I'll ask the people of Firefly if they can source a hat for me. I wanted it for my full review. I think the PCIe is an important thing to test on it. Adds a lot of value.
The difference of using sd-card or eMMC vs NVMe is day and night. I wouldn't want to use my M4V2 as main desktop without NVMe. It adds a lot of usable memory with a large swap file(8GB). I never notice when swap is used. This isn't possible with either sd or eMMC.
And loading and installing files is so much faster.
For encryption this might also improve performance.
I hope to read more of these reviews of you. Cheers.
Here is my first review of the Station P1.
I still have some problems with the images, and I have some short videos that should go with my post, but I'm still editing them.
